The City of North Adams hosts WinterFest each year on the Saturday of Presidents Day Weekend. Activities throughout downtown include horse & carriage ride, chowder competition, children’s carnival, food trucks, artisanal craft fair and more!

On the last Saturday of January, MASS MoCA opens its doors to the public for free as part of its annual Community Day.

There are several mountains within 30 minutes of North Adams including Berkshire East, Jiminy Peak and Bousquet. Mountains about 60 minutes away include Mount Snow, Stratton and Catamount.
