ArtWeek Berkshires is an annual celebration of local creativity.
Enjoy 100+ hands-on or behind-the-scenes events and open studios across the region, from gallery shows to live performances, poetry readings to painting demos, and so much more.

Into Light is a nationwide arts activism initiative that reduces stigma around addiction by honoring the lives of those lost. This exhibit includes ten original portraits of Berkshires residents.
Displayed at Mix Media Space, 1 Canal St., North Adams.
The gallery will be open 12pm – 5pm, with an Artist & Director Meet & Talk from 2pm – 4 pm daily.
Material Transformations, curated by NYC-based Cheryl Molnar, is a contemporary group exhibition at Mixed Media Space in North Adams featuring nine internationally exhibiting artists working across sculpture, textiles, collage, and materially driven practices.

Prints of the Automatic Drawings of Austin Osman Spare. Join us May 16, opening night, for cocktails at the unveiling of the prints and discover more about one of Britain’s most enigmatic artists and occultists.
Showing daily at Lapin Contemporary, 60 Roberts Dr., North Adams 11am - 6pm
The front gallery presents recent drawings, while visitors are invited into the studio to experience the artist’s process and environment. Working in graphite and charcoal, Gilbert creates images that emerge through dense fields of line, balancing abstraction and figuration. Guests have the opportunity to meet the artist, ask questions, and engage with the work in a relaxed setting.

As MASS MoCA’s Art Futures Benefit winds down, join us in dancing the night away at our high-energy, outdoor after party featuring music by DJs Cooper Gangemi and Sören Smedvig, and immersive, large-scale projections by artist Pamela Hersch.
All proceeds from this event benefit the Art Futures Fund which ensures MASS MoCA’s ability to continue its unique practice of investing directly in artists’ dreams — through the funding of new commissions, exhibitions and artistic programming.
Entry also includes late-night snacks and a drink ticket.
Festive attire and dancing shoes encouraged. 21+.

A panel discussion on Spatial Poems, moderated by Curatorial Exchange Initiative Fellow Marissa Del Toro with collaborating guest curators Ninabah Winton and Jamillah Hinson and artists Sam Frésquez and Lola Ayisha Ogbara. The conversation will revolve around the exhibition’s themes of precariousness, care, collectivity, ephemerality, memory, and cyclical repetition.
