Held during the peak of the Fall Foliage season, RambleFest offers two events: an awesome street festival and the Greylock Ramble, a hike to the summit of Mount Greylock.
Since 1965, people who love fall colors, fantastic views, and a great hike in the woods gather at base of Mount Greylock for the annual Greylock Ramble.
It’s the ultimate way to experience autumn in the Berkshires. Free shuttles take hikers from Adams Visitor Center to the Greylock Glen Outdoor Center and the Cheshire Harbor Trailhead and back from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
Using the shuttle is strongly recommended, as parking near the trailhead is very limited. Shuttles to the Greylock Glen Outdoor Center run until 1 p.m., and return shuttles run until 4 p.m. Pets are permitted on the hike, but not on the shuttles.
