Common Folk: Experimentations by Crystal Toro - Reception Crystal Toro explores a variety of mediums and techniques to create beautifully unique pieces. Her debut exhibition explores self-expression, overcoming tribulations, and queer joy. | Crystal Toro is a lesbian, Latinx portrait artist from Long Island, New York. She experiments with different mediums such as oil pastels, watercolor, ink and gouache. Her favorite subjects to draw are women, especially women of color. Growing up in a predominantly white, conservative suburb, Crystal ensured representation was of utmost importance in her artwork. | 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. | 165 E Main Street
