April’s FIRST Friday theme is Clean & Green!
First Friday in April is all about welcoming SPRING with a downtown clean-up and learning about how to do more to reduce, reuse & recycle.
This month will feature EARTHWORK, co-organized by local businesses Savvy Hive & the Plant Connector, as a community-centered celebration of the Earth, the work we need to do to take care of it, creativity, and care that aims to bring together makers, artists, and neighbors committed to a more thoughtful way of living.
Vendors and activities on Holden Street (rain location: Hotel Downstreet) will include a dance party with DJ Forrest Fleur, the DIY Clean Queen Station to learn everyday eco-cleaning hacks, a community art project, a barter booth, and a repair booth. Local organizations working on environmental justice will also be present, including Hoosic River Revival, Greylock Together, and Beetle Buds Native Gardens.
VENDORS INCLUDE: Gloomnbloom, Harbinger Amigurumi, Enchantments by AnnMarie, Winthrop Industries, Stephanie Trotto Vintage, Mom & Nala Mix & Match Service, Barebone Roots, and more!
